New Vision Property Management in Warner Robins, GA is looking for one general laborer to join our 4 person strong team. We are located on 301 Robins West Pkwy Suite B. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.

o Some minor plumbing and electrical

o All duties performed as a general laborer

Qualifications

o Reliable Transportation

o Experience (preferably 2 years or more)

o Skills

o Willingness to travel

o Must be able to lift at least 5 pounds or more.

I. Duties & Responsibilities

o Must be reliable and dependable

o Keeping work area clean and organized

o Setting up repair appointments with tenants

o Completing quarterly inspections

o Performing general maintenance tasks for residential properties, such as drywall repair, plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting and more

o Detecting, identifying and repairing building issues, like basic problems with the property's electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems

o Responding to and completing tenant or supervisor maintenance requests

II. Skills: To be an effective maintenance worker, you should possess several skills, including:

o Communication skills: Maintenance workers often interact with tenants, customers and/or contractors, so they need to be able to communicate in a way that is both clear and friendly.

o Time management skills: In many cases, a maintenance worker has to manage daily tasks and long-term projects. To do this effectively, they need to be able to prioritize tasks, create schedules and develop timelines for completing the work and organizing their time.

o Diagnostic skills: Problem-solving and critical thinking are key in this line of work because maintenance technicians regularly have to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.

o Physical strength: This job can be physically demanding, requiring workers to adjust heavy equipment, squeeze through tight spaces, climb tall ladders and carry heavy objects.

o Technical skills: Regardless of whether they decide to specialize in a trade, maintenance workers need a basic understanding of electric systems, painting, carpentry and plumbing.

o Mechanical skills: This job necessitates expertise in a variety of systems, equipment and tools to effectively complete some of the more complex projects.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $13.00 - $13.50/hour.
